Listening to the Bible

I forgot to mention yesterday that one of my goals this year is to read the Bible all the way through.  I would like to say that I will read and have quiet time everyday.  But I know life happens and there will be some days that I don't.  I just hope those few days don't become weeks or months.  Anyway, I started reading yesterday. Since my Bible wasn't handy I just looked up the Bible online.  That's when I noticed it had a listen button.

I pushed it and began to listen.  Max McLean is the person who is reading, at least in the version I am listening to.  I like reading the NIV.  I am getting so tickled with how he reads it.  He is really making it interesting and I'm picking up on things I have never picked up on before. I'm finding that I would like to listen to more than what is on my schedule.

On a different note, the dentist called me extremely early today because they had to reschedule.  As hard as I tried to go back to sleep I couldn't and now I have a stinky headache. 

After I blogged last night I stayed up even later (past 3AM) and worked on the Kitchen.  The downstairs is looking pretty good. I still have to do those darn dishes, but it's getting there.

Tomorrow we start back to school- I suppose I need to prepare for that as well.
